Branding
Visual Identity system & web design
A refined logo system that draws from the building’s fluid structure and theatrical rhythm, with a palette that merges modern sophistication with coastal serenity.
The primary colour palette features light and soft blue tones, reflecting the surrounding environment.
The logo combines a musical note with an icon that represents the architectural shape of the opera building.

Visual system
Located along the city’s scenic coast, The Bay Opera isn’t just a venue; it’s a landmark of imagination — hosting everything from opera and orchestral concerts to musicals and modern theatre. My role was to craft a visual identity that would echo its architectural elegance, artistic vibrancy, and international spirit.

The Onshow bookstore.
Shenzhen’s first “performing arts”-themed bookstore, OnShow, breaks through the traditional physical bookstore operation mode and is deeply rooted in professional theaters.

Poster Design & Illustration.
Posters, brochures, banners, and opening event graphics — each touchpoint telling a part of the venue’s story.
Balancing aesthetics and communication, I created an illustrated interpretation of La Traviata, embracing minimalism to highlight the protagonist’s pure, heartfelt emotions.

As with all of Verdi’s operas, La traviata deals with human emotions – love, envy, jealousy, loyalty and hatred. Translating to ‘The Fallen Woman’, La traviata is a tragic tale about a Parisian courtesan, Violetta, who attempts to leave the life she knows behind, in an attempt to finally find true love.
Outdoor advertising & flyers.
A balance of boldness and breathability — to reflect the grandeur of performance yet keep it accessible to the public.
